Concept of an old temple

Built on a small plateau, flowers bloom where a 100 meters tall temple dominated the fjord bellow.
A decaying statue of a former gardian is watching over the old temple. Blue banners dance with the wing singing.
The white shadow is the actual gardian, a satyr. 2,1 meters tall.

Bellow is my atroshious first try.

Mérom (2016 update)

 The Mérom is a creature of Phonnannop. A powerful carnivore.
Related to the Kloha as member of the Circulumcaputsuum sub-class, the Mérom is the biggest carnivorous land animal on Phonnannop.
Reaching a lenght of 45 meters long, the Mérom is a monster of muscles and power.
Its jaws have two extra articulations further and a strong flower-like mouth is in its mouth, as any member of the Maxillagerminaret sub-division.

Rotative claws are present on its clogs, used to rip the flesh of the massive preys and also to be used as a tool.
the Mérom open the different ''levels' of jaws depending of the size of the prey. The jaws can hold fermly the massive prey.
the tail is large and helps the Mérom to swim fast, as it is not so uncommun to see the massive monster resting in swamps, lakes, rivers and other water sources.

Like many members of the Titanferox family, the remains of other legs exist as small arms and secondary tails.

While having a beautiful view on the lake were my lodge is, I made this beautiful artwork.
I had made a texture of sweet peace.
The track you see leading to the mountain came out of nowhere and I just decided to go with it as I was surprised it worked so well.
This is the kind of illustration I had no much expectations and end up with a nice result

Lioa, Lioania, Gliese_Bella

Lioa is the capital of Lioania on Gliese-Bella.
Home of a few millions souls, it is a beautifyl city with great skyline, the major space-elevator, and vast forests running between the building. It is a well reputated destinations for tourists, investors, while housing a major center of researsh and development for humanity.
In the corner, Saint-Maria, the Moon of Gliese-Bella.

Shara Voskostri is the sniper of the Nova. She is a good psychological support too for people who feel down.

She is a lovely lady, and mother of young girls (who stay at home on Truth, with her husband.)

The pup, the human girl and Nine tails mother

Anger.
The desire to kill?

No...
Sometimes, the monsters are not what we think they are.

They have motivation.
Hunger, fear... mother's duty.

This illustration has been done with the an old test that I personnaly thought was lost.
Fortunatly, I never put that test away and this gave me a nice idea to work on.
I am proud of myself on this one and the harmony of composition and color is pleasing to my eye.

I could have inverse the illustration to make it more fluid, but I put the creature on the right, to represent the blockade of path they Nine tail impose to the girl.

Then, I realise this empty space.
And then I realised that this creature could have a motivation greater than hunger.
This mother has already eaten.
What impose the anger here is the need to protect her pups.

Mommy has beautiful pups and she doesn't want ANYONE to touch them.
Not even the kindest of humans...
For her, humans are bad.
She knows how terrible they are.
The breath of the mother is burning the air.

She has seen too much to forget.
She doesn't want her little pups to suffer.
But those pups are curious.

The mother doesn't know what to do. The human seems terrified.
The girl cries. She ends up like a ball in the grass.

The mother smells the human.
The human doesn't smell like a devil.
The mother simply watch the human.
The human can't move.
Fear is making the human girl die.
The mother is watching, so are her pups.
One of the pups jump out of its hideout and walk slowly to the girl.

The mother opposes herself against the action of his pup, while the other pup, the smallest and less couragous, stands his ground.
The oldest pup desobey her mother and curiosity bring it to the human girl.
The human seems paralyse and the body of the human is convulsing time to time.
The pup get closer.
The human looks at the pup.
The pup step back.
Then, the pup comes closer, while the mother is watching closely.
The pup can now touch the human.
The human doesn't move. She is still full of fear.
Tears runs over her cheeks.
The pup circle around the human girl.
The human girl is saying words. She repeats them quickly.
The pup touch her with her soft paw.
She licks the human back.
The human stands up of surprise. The pup jump of surprise.
Nine tails mother roars.
The human go back to her ball like position.
The pup looks at the mother and roar to her. Putting herself between her mother and the girl.
The mother looks at her pup and give a little more space... a little.

The girl looks up to the friendly pup.which has actually very cute eyes.
The thing is as big as a tiger. Actually, she realises it is way bigger...
The girl has her cloths in bad conditions.
It is cold.
She is freezing.
The pup is coming closer.
The girl tries to put a hand on the pup. To pet her.
The pup seems surprise, but no effraid this time.
She pets her gently and the pup then press herself against the human girl.
Her fur is soft and warm. Fozy and confortable.
The pup push the human with her tails to just go closer to the hide out.
The human girl look at the scary monster.
The big nine tail mother calms down.

She crawls to towards the rocks where the pup push her.
Then, the pup is lying down.
The human girl is slowly, under the nine tail mother, sitting down before letting herself be surrounded by the big fuzy tails of the pup.
The girl, too tired to stay awake, sleeps... naturally.
The human girl sleeps well against the pup's fur. She seems so peaceful.
The pup hugs the human with her nose and paw.
What a adorable moment...

The pup looks at the human girl... and bite her head off.
It was clean.
It was made with intelligence.
Mommy learned something today... How to deceive...

Janorack (inside shell)

Janorack is gigantic. Having great towers, vast parks of nature, beautiful is not enough to describe the beauty of Janorack.
It is called the Jewel of the Union of the Empires after all.

Forest of Lights and Shadows.

I decided for my portfolio to unified both Forest of Lights and Shadows.

The result is nice. I modified the middle to make it a little less symetric, though it is.

The good path would be the right one (no pun intended, nor political message). Just an warning...

What about the middle?

Fix the middle and find what's wrong with that tree.

So, I was in the mood for some nice art.
I decided to make two variants of the same forest in winter.
One is more calm, good feeling, while the other may seems more claustrophobic.

The thing is, both are the same (almost.) They are simply reverse.
But there is something diffrent in the seconde picture...

Massacrer Gatherer

GATHERER

This is a Massacrer Gatherer. It has two cages on the sides of its rear. This machine captured beings for analysing or simply to release them at high altitudes to a deadly fall.

Those machines also transport Throaters to defend them when they crash.

Gatherers cause a lot of trouble to infantery, but they are weaker (though not defenseless) against heavier assets of war.

So, little challenge send by a group of graphic artists. Under 30 minutes, make something with one of the topics. I had chosen lady of hate.

Gamlémor.

Gamlémor is the fourth planet in the Céfaroce system. This world is mysterious and fill with magic and great legends since times forgetten by even the gods and deads.
Many of the creatures dwelling the lands of Gamlémor are not part of the original fauna, which was dominated by an fauna and flora from an other world.

The first humans (and the orcs, elves, dwarves and others to-be) came thousand of hundred of years ago. The dominant specie of the time, the Narrogs, have lead a war against the humans, elves, orcs, dwarves and the others.
The original inhabitant, the Vartarndïrs, now living on the continent of Tarloï, fight on the new comers side.
This first period of human, elves, dwarves and the others history became legend for many.

With time, alliances had brocken. Many races vanished, while some thrived and new races were borned. Humans dominate most of the North hemisphere, while most non-humanoïde share the south.

Dangerous creatures from the original fauna and flora can be found in many places. Animals from a heaven hellish world call «home of men» thrived. Mammoths, saber toothed tigers, great whales and others marine creatures foud their places. The list of species is too long to say, but many intellectual and scientifics quickly realised that Gamlémor is not the original world of many.
And it is true that they are from an other world. A legend about a gate transcending space can be hear time to time, though this door is forever lost, some hope to find the gate and maybe see the world in which humans evolved from.

Gamlémor is made of complex ecosystems and the natural gears in action are making this world a paradise. Gamlémor has many land masses which were named by the first humans, elves, orcs, dwarves and others.

At the bottom of the map, on the left, Lands of Ice. Most live on the North side.

At the bottom, on the right, Lands of Snow, inhabited by dangerous people and creatures.

The main land mass on the North is called Pale. Some parts are clement for settlements and kingdoms existed there.

The biggest of all the land masses, Prossépé, is the groud of many conflicts.
Some major islands are Mördam (between two «arms»), Svem (little and long under the "dog's head") and Solavar (major island on the right of Prossépé, which some concider as a continent.)
Many other major islands are located around, but I won't say more about them.

Under Prossépé, we found Vorro, a very large land mass. It is geoactivity is sometime intense.

Tarloï is directly on the left of Vorro. The original inhabitant of Gamlémor now live there. Before, the Vartarndïrs were everywhere, but the Narrogs (who came a very long time before men, elves, orcs, dwarves and the other) did a lot of dammage.

Finally, Vénéra, to the left of Prossépé and north of Tarloï Vénéra is a very safe continent in comparaison of many, even though the magic there is the most powerful. It is there that the kingdom of Vivatten is located, or as some called it, «the Kingdom with a real heart».
Many lakes can be found in Vénéra and many long mountain chains, while Prossépé has many large «shields».
Many important islands are located around, but for now, I won't say more about them.
Gamlémor has a active core. The tectonic of the continental plates created the shapes of the continents seen today.
Many islands also existed thanks to volcanos rising from the depths.

DIVISION BETWEEN COUNTRIES

The geopolitic situation of Gamlémor reach sometimes a global scale. Because nations and the people is aware of the actual geographic situation of Gamlémor, the entier planet is under the borders of a nation. Some disapears with time and new are born, while some are so old that their history is insanely long.

A more zoomed map divided in many pictures will see the day soon.

Gamlémor is too complex to be fully understand in this document. More will come about it. But, you can already check for some beautiful view in the continent of Vivatten
